As a Facilities Manager, you will use our foundational drivers to play a crucial role in shaping the highways that connect communities and drive progress across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
VDOT's Culpeper District is nestled in Virginia's Piedmont between Rappahannock and Rapidan Rivers. We are situated near Skyline Drive, the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park.
The Facilities Manager will coordinate, manage and monitor activities of the district's Facilities functions. Oversee hired contractors to perform construction, alterations, maintenance and major day-to-day repairs to buildings, infrastructure and facilities for a multi-site organization. Plan and initiate projects to improve or effectively maintain facilities in a manner consistent with VDOT goals and available funding. Oversee district security operations.

VDOT utilizes a market-based pay program, which has been approved by the Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM). Therefore, advertised rates of pay may or may not align with the Commonwealth pay bands.
