As a Part Time (Wage) Safety Instructor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Lynchburg District safety training needs and providing instruction for all employees, especially those in safety sensitive positions across the Commonwealth of Virginia. As well as coordinate, schedule, and teach safety-related training for all employees and identified technical training for maintenance operators in support of the Lynchburg District safety program.

This is an hourly/wage position, limited to 1500 hours per cycle year with an average of 29 hours per week. No State/Medical benefits provided.

Valid driver’s license. References, work history, and professional certifications will be verified. Requires satisfactory results from a fingerprint-based criminal history record check and DMV driving record check. Position may be required to work during emergencies and inclement weather on nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
